Hudson Area Swim Association is a not-for-profit USA-Swimming Club with approximately 80 members split into 6 developmentally based groups, 1 full time coach and two part-time assistant coaches. We are located on the St. Croix River in Hudson, WI, but swim in the Minnesota LSC due to proximity. We are currently seeking an assistant coach to take over the vacancy of our novice coach. Responsibilities will be flexible and dynamic, and we will enthusiastically help the right person develop their skill and knowledge of the sport. The successful candidate will primarily be working with our youngest two groups (6 to 10 year olds), but have the desire and ability to take on one of our other groups when needed. This is a great position for someone looking to get into coaching competitive swimming, or someone with competitive swimming experience looking for an extremely fun way to earn some extra dollars. The average two week cycle would include a maximum of 20 hours, including 10 practice days at 1.5 hours each, and 1 four hour (approximate) meet session on Friday evening, Saturday morning or Sunday morning. The Menomonee Falls Swim Club, located in the Milwaukee area, is seeking a Head Coach who will be available beginning June 1, 2008. MFSC is a member of USA Swimming and was established in 1962. We serve several communities and are a financially sound and growing club with approximately 90-100 swimmers. In addition to competitive swim we offer a pre-comp and master’s program. MFSC is well supported by the Menomonee Falls Recreation Department, the community, a strong and objective board of directors, devoted parents, and a dedicated staff of assistant coaches. The ideal candidate must have prior competitive swim experience, head or assistant coaching experience, have a current certification in Coaches Safety, CPR, possess or be willing to obtain all USA Swimming coaching certifications, and be able to pass a background check. The candidate must be organized and efficient, have proficient communication skills, an ability to motivate and work with swimmers of all ages with an emphasis on the senior level, have a good working knowledge of current training techniques, and be able to maintain or improve an already stable and quality club. ![]() The Waukesha Express Swim Team is seeking to fill a number of staff positions.
As the team continues to grow, we anticipate having coaching vacancies in both
the age group program and senior program. These positions range in part time
to possibly full time coaching positions which we anticipate filling over the next
six months. Some administrative duties may also be required. We are seeking
ASCA certified coaches, with coaching experience and/or experience working
with children ages 5 – 18.
The team is also seeking a part time administrative assistant, and hoping to fill
this position by the end of March 2008. This is a temporary position with the
possibility of becoming a permanent position.

The Verona Aquatic Club is searching for a part time Assistant Coach to work with the youngest members of our age group competitive swim club. The position involves approximately nine to twelve hours per week starting April 14, 2008. Candidates should be experienced with the developmental needs of young swimmers and the training required for developing great stroke technique and competitive swimming fundamentals. Personal competitive swimming and coaching experience is a strong plus. Our Assistant Coach must enjoy working with young swimmers between the ages of five and eleven years. This coach will be under the supervision of our Head Coach, Randy Trowbridge, and our Age Group Coach, Bo Trowbridge. The rate of pay will be based on experience, credentials and commitment. Candidates must be current coach-certified members of USA-Swimming or willing to update certifications to obtain current USA-Swimming certification prior to the start of the season. Additional certifications required are current Red Cross Lifeguard and Red Cross CPR Professional Rescuer. A background check must be obtained through USA-Swimming as part of the certification process. Monona Swim & Dive Club, located in a Madison suburb, is seeking a head swim coach for our two-month summer outdoor program. Last year we had 250 swimmers and 10 assistant and junior coaches. Our season runs from May 27 - Aug. 3. Practice is from 6:30 to 10 a.m. and 4:30 to 6 p.m. daily. We compete every Saturday morning against other Madison outdoor teams. The highlight of the season is the All-City Championships July 31-Aug. 2: With 1,500 swimmers, it's the second-largest outdoor meet in the country! We have an incredible bunch of adult volunteers who will take a lot of the busy work off your shoulders, and one of the most beautiful 8-lane pools in the Madison area.
